Prerequisites
Before you begin setup, make sure you have the following tools and accounts in place. Each item plays a specific role in the workflow — don't skip any required ones.

All required items must be in place before running the skill for the first time. GoDaddy is optional — you can skip it if you don't need custom subdomains.
Step 1 of 6
Get Your Gamma API Key
Your Gamma API key is the credential that allows the skill to generate presentations on your behalf. You only need to retrieve this once — then store it safely for future sessions.

Log In to Gamma
Visit gamma.app and sign in to your Pro account.

Open Settings
Click your profile avatar in the top right corner, then select Settings.

Navigate to API Keys
In the left sidebar, click API Keys. Then click "Create New API Key."

Name & Generate
Name it (e.g., "Listing Presentations") and click Generate. Copy the key immediately — it starts with sk-gamma- and is only shown once.

🔒 Store your API key somewhere safe — a password manager works great. Never share it publicly. If you lose it, generate a new one from the same Settings page. If you don't see the API Keys section, upgrade at gamma.app/pricing.
Step 2 of 6
Get Your Gamma Theme ID
Your theme ID controls the visual look of every generated presentation — colors, fonts, and background style. You can use an existing theme or create a brand-new one tailored to your brand.
Option A — Use an Existing Theme
  1. Open any Gamma presentation that uses the theme you want
  1. Click Theme in the top toolbar → Edit Theme
  1. Copy the alphanumeric ID from the browser URL (e.g., c8od650krd365rf)
Option B — Create a New Theme
  1. Go to gamma.app → Themes → Create Theme
  1. Customize your brand colors, fonts, and background
  1. Save the theme and copy the ID from the browser URL
💡 Pro Tip: Dark themes with high contrast work best for listing appointments — they project authority and professionalism in dimly lit rooms.
Step 3 of 6 — Optional
Get Your GoDaddy API Credentials
This step is only required if you want the skill to automatically create custom subdomains like 123mainst.yourbrokerage.com. If you're skipping subdomain setup, you can move on to Step 4.
1. Visit the Developer Portal
Go to developer.godaddy.com/keys and log in with your GoDaddy account credentials.
2. Create a New API Key
Click "Create New API Key." Set the environment to Production — not Test. Test keys cannot modify real DNS records.
3. Copy Both Credentials
Click Next and copy both your API Key and Secret immediately. The Secret is only shown once and cannot be recovered.

You need a domain already registered in your GoDaddy account (e.g., yourbrokerage.com). The skill will create subdomains under it automatically — no manual DNS work required on your end.
Step 4 of 6
Get & Install the Skill
Step A — Request the Skill File
Text (737) 258-4922 with your email address and the words "Listing Presentation Skill."
You'll receive an email with the skill file attached. Download it to your computer before proceeding.
Step B — Install in Cowork
  1. Open the Claude Desktop app and switch to Cowork mode
  1. Open any folder on your computer to work in
  1. Drag and drop listing-skill.skill into the chat (or use the attachment button)
  1. Tell Claude: "Install this skill"
  1. Claude extracts the skill files and confirms installation

✅ That's it — the skill is now available in all future Cowork sessions for this project. You only need to install it once. It will persist across sessions automatically.
Step 5 of 6
Using the Skill to Generate a Presentation
Start every session by saying: "Create a listing presentation for [address]" — the skill takes it from there.

Provide your Gamma API key and Theme ID (first time per session only)

Upload your MLS comp export file when prompted

📊 Comp Export Tips
  • Include 15–25 comps across Active, Pending, Under Contract, and Closed
  • Include address, status, beds, baths, sqft, year built, list price, DOM, and sold price
  • Include the subject property in the export if possible
💰 Pricing Note
The skill generates a price range, not a fixed number. This is intentional — it keeps the pricing conversation open and collaborative at your listing appointment, positioning you as an advisor rather than just quoting a number.
Step 6 of 6
Connect Your Custom Subdomain
The DNS record is already created — just verify it in Gamma
Once your presentation is generated, publishing it to your custom branded URL takes less than 60 seconds. The CNAME record was already configured by the skill — all you need to do is verify it inside Gamma.

Open Your Presentation in Gamma
Navigate to the newly generated presentation in your Gamma dashboard.

Share → Publish as Website
Click the Share button in the top toolbar, then select Publish as Website.

Open Site Settings
Click the gear icon (Site Settings), then under Custom Domain, click Add Domain.

Enter Your Subdomain
Type your subdomain (e.g., 123mainst.yourdomain.com) and select "Manual DNS Setup."

Verify & Publish
Click Verify — it should confirm immediately. Then click Publish. Your presentation is live.
